View Full Version : What I did not like in DeskPro?

I have two comments about DeskPro I wish to see them in DeskPro.
In User Interface, when I see tickets listing, there is no way to see who the last replier is. How should I know if a ticket is last replied by me or a staff? I think there should be green/red color depending last replier and this is how all desktop systems work.
There should be an option to search tickets too. When las year I asked a question and got answer, now I need to refer to that ticket to see the answer again. I don't have ticket id. I should be able to search tickets by phrase/keywords.

I agree with the first point, it would be nice to see that in Deskpro - but there is a search tickets function in Deskpro (Tickets > Find Tickets on the Tech Interface).

1) I mean users should be able to search their own tickets in user area too.
2) red/green color listing should be in both tech and user interface.
another third point:
3) When a tech replies a ticket, by default the status should be auto-set to "Awiting user" unless otherwise tech select another setting, but "Awiting user" should be default when a tech replies. because sometimes my techs forgot to set it to "Awiting user".
As soon as I see these three points, DeskPro is the best on the web. I hope the developers are seeing this thread.

Glad to hear!
I evaluated several hundreds HelpDesk systems and DeskPro is the best! I see DeskPro will become industry leader (imho already is) in next few months! :)
As about
I mean users should be able to search their own tickets in user area too.
Even Kayako lacks this feature. in Kayako users cannot even sort tickets by date, subject etc. but in DeskPro I see sorting feature in user area. But if you add search tickets in user area, and red/gree listing, then DeskPro has nothing to loose in comparison with Kayako and even better than Kayako.

Christopher, are my suggested features available now in the latest version?

I think Deskpro is already the best one.
You don't get even these facilities on others.
This is exactly what I said! :)
If they add these few features, then nothing to loose at all.

I agree also. No way to see who the last replier is. The search function is great and all but last ticket should be quick and should only take one single button press.
As for me I like everything in Deskpro.
